Tiré du répertoire de René Alain avec les Princes du folklore et l’Oncle Adémard, l’air se trouve sur le disque “Tout l’monde swing” (London MB27) où Ovila Légaré y call « l’oiseau dans la cage ». Merci à Jean-Claude Bélanger de qui Carmen l’a apprise pour cette adaptation pour accordéon une rangée.  🎻  With Carmen Guérard. THE OLD BRANCH is from the repertoire of René Alain and The Princes of Folklore with Oncle Adémard, and appears on the album “Tout le monde swing” (London MB27) where Ovila Légaré can be heard calling a dance “bird in the cage”. Thanks to Jean-Claude Bélanger who adapted it for one-row accordion and passed it along to Carmen.
