No 112 – Mazurka pergola – avec Quinn Bachand

Avec Quinn Bachand. J’ai fait une danse à trois temps pour Dana, la reine du Bout du banc, pour tous ses efforts de continuité (les traditions ainsi que la série vidéo). Sur la pergola, on a vu et entendu des ami(e)s de l’ancienne tradition qui suit son cours à travers le temps et l’espace des générations. À notre nouvelle maison, nous avons un gazébo où nous allons créer des nouvelles traditions. “Pendant que l’automne est encore beau, allons y jouer sur le gazébo. Avant que l’hiver ne soit encore là, allons y danser la mazurka.“ Un gros merci à Monsieur Bachand qui est toujours prêt à tenter les accompagnements pas évidents.

With Quinn Bachand. I made this tune for Dana, the Queen of the Bout du Banc, for her hard work maintaining the continuity of both the series and the traditions. On the pergola, we have seen and heard friends of the tradition as it moves through time, space and generations. At our new home, we have a gazebo where we plan to start some new traditions. “While autumn is still here, let’s go play on the gazebo. Before winter is comes again, let’s go dance the mazurka there.” A big thank you to Mr. Bachand who is always ready for those challenging accompaniments.
