Une des pièces incontournable de la musique cadienne (cajun) composée et popularisée par l’accordéoniste et chanteur Lawrence Walker en Louisiane dans les années 50. La légende veut qu’il l’ait faite pour apaiser une dispute entre lui et le propriétaire du Reno Dance Hall où il se produisait souvent. Legend has it that he wrote the song to smooth over a dispute with the owner of the Reno Dance Hall, where he frequently performed.
