Avec Robert Bouthillier. Tourné à Sainte-Béatrix en octobre 2025. Robert Bouthillier et Vivian Labrie étaient venus faire du collectage de chanson traditionnelle au milieu de années 70. Cette version nous vient de l’illustre chanteur Marc Brien de Sainte-Marie-Salomé, qui grâce à Robert, a représenté le Québec au Festival of American Folklife (Smithsonian Institution) en 1976. Dans Lanaudière, l’amour de la tradition en chanson se perpétue toujours et encore depuis ce temps. Un gros merci à Robert et Vivian.
With Robert Bouthillier. Filmed in Sainte-Béatrix in October 2025. Robert Bouthillier and Vivian Labrie visited the region to collect traditional songs in the mid-1970s. This version comes to us from the renowned singer Marc Brien of Sainte-Marie-Salomé, who, thanks to Robert, represented Québec at the Smithsonian Institution’s Festival of American Folklife in 1976. In the Lanaudière region, a deep love of traditional singing continues to thrive. Big thanks to Robert and Vivian.
